Letters: to Col. John Morrow, Shepherdstown, Jefferson County, Virginia, 1814-1816.

Susan K. Skiles and her son, James Rumsey Skiles, request that John Morrow send them letter written by her father, inventor James Rumsey. The letters refer to the Boteler manuscripts, a collection at the Duke University Library of Alexander Robinson Boteler who researched Rumsey's claims to have built the first steamship. Rumsey's papers are at Duke also.
